David from Ship a Car Direct was honest and upfront about realistic rates for getting our car shipped from NY to CA. Prior to working with David we'd worked with other car shipping companies who bated and switched prices after we had signed up with them. They promised to ship our car at one price only to ask for more money later because they couldn't find drivers to move the car at the rate that they'd quoted us. The shipping companies all have access to the same drivers from my understanding so they knew this, but strung us along to get us to sign up with them. Save yourself some hassle and frustration and ship with Ship a Car Direct.
