High-Marks for Safe-Direct and Tom Miller

This was the second experience in shipping a car for our family and so we had something to compare to. I must say that this experience was vastly different from the first, less than satisfying, experience.

The price quoted was the lowest of all the estimates I received. Tom explained the procedure for his company and I felt confident of what to expect. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and Safe-Direct Car Shipping was the only carrier of all those I had contacted that had an A rating. Satisfied this would be the best company to do business with, I placed my order.

Minutes after I placed the order, I received a call from Tom who gave me the name of the shipping company, and he gave me the pickup and delivery dates. The car would be picked up in 2 days. Within an hour from Tom's call, I received a call from the driver setting up an appointment and location for car pickup.

On the appointed date, the car we wanted to ship was picked up at the prearranged time and location. The driver, George, was conscientious, courteous, personable, friendly and honest. We had requested the top level of the car carrier for transport of our auto and the driver did, in fact, transport our auto on the top level. The car arrived in California in the same condition it had been when it left Texas, except for some road dust. In addition, the car did indeed arrive on the day they had told us it would. This whole shipping process was quick, problem free, and there were no issues.

Should the opportunity ever arise that we have to ship another vehicle, we would certainly use Safe-Direct Car Shippers and request the same driver. We certainly feel that they deserve high marks and my family certainly intends to recommend them to anyone else shipping a vehicle.
