The preliminary planning went well. The car was picked up a day earlier than quoted causing a bit of an issue in insuring the keys were available. While in transit no communication was made to us. On the estimated date of delivery no call was made to advise of status - at 2 pm I contacted the original contact point who responded quickly. Then the driver and dispatch contacted us but delivery was again delayed to mechanical issues.
When promised for 8-9 am the following day and not delivered then it caused problems on our end to be available for delivery.
I think this whole problem could have been avoided if there was better communication the day of delivery with a call either the day before or early that morning.
