Liked Safe Direct, but not the transport company

This was the first time that I shipped a car and I was very nervous about what to expect. We worked closely with Jason and he was very helpful. He understood our concerns and worked hard to find the right price and timing for our shipment. It took some time, but we eventually locked in our order with a transport company. Everything was fine until we started working directly with the transport company. They were several days late picking up the car, did not give us enough notice when they came to pick up the car, did not provide any updates on delivery time unless we called and then tried to over charge us when they finally delivered the car (3 days late). I would use Safe Direct again because of our experience with Jason, but be careful to fully review what transport company you decide to use. Thankfully our car arrived without any damage, but I would never use that transport company again to ship another car.
