Texas to Indy - without the BS

Let me start by saying I'm very new to this, so I made rookie mistakes.
I went online to 5 websites looking for quotes to move a Mazdaspeed Miata from Texas to Indianapolis in an enclosed trailer. Big mistake.
What I got was over 45 emails and dozens of phone calls from very pushy brokers. And if this wasn't bad enough, almost all the emails were quoting open trailer transport.
I spoke with 2 companies I THOUGHT were giving me honest answers to my questions and concerns. I was about to sign with one when I called them back at the number listed on their website and found it wasn't in service (I had only spoken to them via cellphone)...okay, on to the next one.
I did accept a bid with another company, offering me a quote of $850 to move the car immediately. This was by far the lowest quote I had received and I soon found out why. Since the $$ were so low, no drivers would take it, so my listing sat on the dispatch board for 3 days. To make matters worse, the company would not return my calls or emails.
I finally cancelled with them, on a friday, and almost by accident answered a call from Mike O'Sullivan at Rite Way. I explained my situation, he basically said that he wasn't surprised no one had taken the route for such low $$, and that he felt sure he could move the car for $1025 (still lower than most other quotes) and get it picked up by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I accepted the price and within 20 minutes, Bonnie had called and emailed me with driver contact info. 10 minutes later she called back to tell me they found another driver who would pick the car up on Monday and drop it off Wednesday. She was 100% right, and the car arrived in pristine condition, as promised. Mike even emailed me to tell me when the car had been picked up, just as promised.
No runaround, no pressure, just honest answers and excellent service. What more could I ask for?
If I'm in need of auto transport again, I will definitely call Mike at Rite Way.
