Unfortunately, I went with lowest quote which is risky but all the existing reviews were mostly positive. I signed up online and was supposed to get a $20 discount but never receive it. I call them and they call me back 2 days later and said I would get the refund when the car is picked up. (Don't trust them!@) I attempted to work with them for a period over 2 months to get my car shipped. I was very patient and finally talked to them after about 3 weeks of no activity. When we finally did talk (2 days between my call and their return call), they said that they had quoted the wrong price (said it was my mistake ????) and that they should have quoted me over $100 more. I agreed to the increase, person storing my car was anxious to get it moved. To their credit, a shipper did call eventually but only gave a few hours notice and by the time I located the person with the car, the trucker was out of town.

2 months pass (despite my pleas) and I get a call from RideMovers and say they found another trucker but he wanted an extra $125 on top of the $100 I had already agreed to pay on top of the originally quoted price. Reluctantly, I agreed since the car absolutely had to move. I was happy the car was finally going to get on a truck! My friend said he would be out of town but his wife would stay home to arrange the transport. Orignally scheduled for Friday, my friend's wife gets a call that trucker needs to reschedule for Saturday. My friend's wife waits at home but the RideMovers does a no call no show. My friend calls me back and is livid that RideMovers wasted his wife's time!

I find that RideMover's 2 days to return any calls or email gets worse. They stop returning my calls. I now cancel the service and ask for a partial refund of my $155 deposit. When I lucked out and got them on the phone, they were rude and shifted blame onto the truckers, price, and even me . I find they are crooks, took the money and laughed all the way to the bank. On the other hand, I order service with a company called Angel's Moving and the car is picked up by Tuesday the following week. I think that RideMovers is soo new they don't have many truck movers to work with them. I absolutely do not recommend using them even if they are less.
