I had an overall good experience with Reliable Car Transportation; car was picked-up on time and delivered promptly, price was as quoted, customer service was overall satisfactory. So why am I not saying Excellent move? For a few minor issues:
1) Customer service was not excellent. If my phone calls were not taken and I left a voicemail, I would not be called back; once I was told I would be called back but I wasn't, so I had to call again. I was told I would be called once an available truck was found, but again I had to call to get the info.
2)Quoted price was $700, with a $100 deposit. After the truck was found, the deposit became $150, and the truck driver was payed $550. Now I wonder, if the driver requested less than expected, couldn't it be a $50 less on my bill rather than a $50 more on the broker fee?
3)The truck driver called me three days before the scheduled pick-up window and wanted to pick up my car the following day, i.e. two days before the schedule time window; I refused and the car was eventually picked-up on the first day of pick-up window, but I still found it annoying.
4) The truck driver was supposed to call me 24 hours before delivery, be he actually called me 2 hours before delivery and I had to rush from the airport to my new apartment to get the car
