Pretty decent service, but a fair amount of legwork required on my part

At the end of the day, my car made it from California to North Carolina dirty but undamaged. That's pretty great, so I'm a happy customer.

My experience with Red Carpet Auto Transport was certainly OK, but it could have been a lot better.

First, and I have to get this out of the way. I'm required to fill out a review to get a $30 rebate on my service. I'm really not fond of this tactic. Hopefully the rebate comes in a timely manner, but still, good service should speak for itself. All else being equal though, next time around, since prices tend to be so close between companies, I'll pick one that doesn't involve rebates.

My agent at Red Carpet was very nice, but a bit scattered. She didn't seem to have any lines of communication with the shipper (who mostly arranged the scheduling with me). Also twice I got calls that were too early in the morning, time zones should have been taken into account. The other difficulty was that since the pickup was on a weekend, there was no one available to talk to with questions. Also email wasn't really an option. I would rate them as pretty hard to get in contact with actually.

I was happy they found a driver, but I really did all the scheduling (days changed from the original quoted day etc) and planning with the transport company directly. I wish there had been a bit more help from Red Carpet available.

As I know that I worked very hard on your transport, and was very frustrated with the lack of communication with the carrier company. When we have an carrier company who would much rather work with the customer than the brokers, there is really little we can do. I cannot count the number of phone calls I made to them that remain un answered to this day. The ultimate goal however was to get your car placed on a carrier and shipped to you and that we accomplished. Thank you for your honest review, and have a wonderful day. Cheryl
