Robyn at Red Carpet provided what I would consider acceptable service in transporting my car from Los Angeles to Houston. The reason they didn't get any better rating is because I always had to call and ask for status myself - including on pickup and delivery dates. Eventually I got the trucker's cellphone number and call him directly - for me Red Carpet stopped being in the picture at that point. They basically gave pickup and drop off info to the truck driver and both activities went fine. The car was dusty outside but is expected after a 1600 mi trip on open truck.
One note to any prospective customer reading this - my house is in a residential area with narrow streets. The 18 wheelers transporter couldn't get in. What the trucker did was parking his truck at a car dealership about 2 mi from my house and drove my car to me. I then drove him back to his truck. This was my only unexpected part of the whole process.
