Well this was my first experience moving an automobile with a transport company and I was leery about doing it and had a lot of questions about the procedure. My son was stationed in Kansas and he needed his truck, which was here in Massachusetts. My contact person, Cheryl Phiffer, was very patient and understanding with me and she answered all my questions and then some. She walked me through the whole process from beginning to end and at no time did I feel pressured or obligated to us her company. They gave me a price and we waited for a trucker to respond. I did inquire at another transport company and they told me that the quote I was given by red carpet was too low and that my truck wouldn’t move. Cheryl kept in touch with me every few days and she did say that all the vehicles on the east coast weren’t moving, so we put a little more money on the truck and it was picked up by a trucker. They responded very quickly and within 5 days the truck was delivered to my son in Kansas. There was no damage to the truck, which was a fear of mine, and we both were very satisfied with the process. Although the figures I was given at first did change, in the end it still ended up costing me less than the quote I was given by the other transport company. I would recommend Red Carpet and I would use them again if the need should arise.
