got the job done, would use again

Following a recommendation from Jonathan Grimm (see his review from 25 Apr), I called RCAT initially on 14 Aug to get a quote, specifying that my car was ready to be picked up immediately. I did not call any other companies or receive any other quotes. I received an emailed quote that afternoon and placed the order online that evening. A few days later, I provided information for the deposit (which was subject to a 5% fee for using a credit card).

Heard nothing (as expected) until 20 Aug at 6:15pm when Peter, a driver, called me to indicate that he's in the area and could pick up the car at around 8pm. I agreed and suggested an initial meeting place. I checked my email and didn't see anything, and I called RCAT but nobody picked up. On the third call to them, at 7:09pm I left a voicemail indicating I had been contacted by the driver, and requested confirmation that the car was scheduled to be picked up. I received an email 4 minutes later suggesting the car would be picked up on the 21st (the following day), and delivered on the 25th.

Nevertheless, I proceeded to meet Peter at a local mall parking lot at about 8:45pm; he showed up at about 9:15pm. He took the car from me, and I took public transportation home. The receiver of the car received a call on the 21st suggesting that the car would be delivered at around 1pm on the 22nd (3 days early). The car was actually delivered at 2:15pm on the 22 Aug. Any way you look at it, 1436 miles by one driver in 42 hours is impressive.

Customer service was top-notch until the delivery had been scheduled, at which point I was very surprised to hear from the driver directly and not RCAT. But the car was shipped successfully, and at a price I was very comfortable paying. Thank you RCAT.
