In October I used Red Carpet to ship a car to my daughter in Texas. It wasn't a new car, but had sentimental value & I was concerned about choosing the right company. I went with Red Carpet based on other reviews . Because it was based in a small town where I used to live, I thought I'd give them a chance. They found me a driver with only a couple of days wait. I was a little disappointed in some of the call-back time I experienced when I had questions, and that the representative changed even though they stated that you had one person to deal with from start to finish.

The car arrived late, and the driver (also the business/truck owner) was unresponsive most of the time. He was very vague about the arrival time. Originally he was to deliver the car to my daughter's place of employment, as drop-off would be convenient there. He did not make that delivery time, and by the time he finally got back to her, the car was dropped off on the side of a busy highway in the dark! It was a dangerous location, and impossible to check for damages with very little light, and a very dirty vehicle.

HOWEVER, Red Carpet performed a service that I consider 'above and beyond', and for that I would use them again. I had mistakenly thought that the shipment balance could be paid by card at the point of delivery. It should have been paid in cash. To avoid the over-night storage, Red Carpet took the time to take my card for payment, then drive across town to deposit the money into the driver's account at a different bank. In order to do this, they had to contact the driver's wife to make the arrangement! I was very grateful. I think you will be happy with the service you receive from this company.
