We contracted to move a 1975 Buick convertible from Chicago to Phoenix. We chose Red Carpet December 13. We took delivery January 5. That was disappointing, especially when they hit me up for an extra $60.00 to get the deal done. What was much worse is that the car was damaged by the transport company and I was left hanging. The Buick top was in excellent shape and we had just driven the car 175 miles on the freeway to get it to the pick up point. When the car arrived in Phoenix the top had two 3 foot rips that ran from the outside of the rear glass forward parallel to the body. This was caused by leaving one of the windows slightly open and having the top blow out from within. DO NOT USE PR EXPRESS INC, 614 Revere Rd, Glenview Il 60025 ph 847-668-9779. After talking to Rolland, the owner?, five or six times I realized that I am on my own for a new $1500.00 top. Red Carpet was NOT helpful in putting any pressure on PR EXPRESS to get me any settlement. RED CARPET WAS ONLY HELPFUL UNTIL THEY GOT THEIR MONEY AND THEN I WAS ON MY OWN. BTW, I have transported many cars over the years and am experienced in this type of transaction and have never had an experience like this. Also, when Red Carpet heard that I had a problem, the $30.00 rebate for posting a review somehow went away...

Red Carpet Auto Transport 602-438-4644; Mr.Goldfine, Unfortunately we are not able to do anything regarding filing the claim with the insurance, all we can do is supply you with the insurance packet and you and the carrier must fill the claim out. I personally spoke with you regarding this, and the steps necessary as well as let you know we would do everything within our power to help you. And we did do this for you. All of this is gone over in your Terms and conditions which you received. In regards to the rebate, I also personally sent you the link for the rebate, and we would have been more than happy to give you one but you didn't do your part. The directions for the rebate are very clear, and spelled out, and unfortunately you failed to complete them and this is why you did not receive a rebate. We apologize that your car was damaged, though this is something we have no control over, and we are sorry you feel that we did not live up to your expectations. But we did everything as our terms and conditions say we would. Unfortunately it seems you didn't read them. Red Carpet Auto Transport
