Red Carpet Transport was the worst experience I ever had. There staff was not honest from the start. Of course you don’t find this out tell much later. We had a date scheduled a week ahead of the pick-up date I called to verify pick-up. I was told, my agent (Alice) was out sick, with some dental issues, but the car should be picked up. I called again 2-3 days prior still received the same information telling me Alice was sick, but still no problems. The day of the scheduled pick-up I received no call, so I called and was informed Alice was no longer with the company, but I should receive a call a day prior to pick-up to arrange a time. I left an alternate phone number for them to call me. The lady informed I the earliest the car would be picked up would be January 4, 2012. On January 3, 2012 I returned from work and had received several calls from the driver and Red Carpet wishing to pick up the car the same day. I informed both red carpet and the driver I was at least 30 minutes away from the vehicle (as it was at my work) and would meet them. I inquired about why they didn’t call my alternate number. They informed me they didn’t have it. Then they informed me of the payment change. Originally they informed I had to pay the driver a fee for pick-up and the reminder at drop off, which was great. But, now I had to give no money to the driver up-front and a completely different amount at pick-up, plus then they would charge my credit card another fee as they promised they wouldn’t. I asked them if I could send the money to them and was rudely told no. I informed they never told me my credit card would be charged. But, again I was informed that is the way they do business. The driver was quick to deliver the car across country, but was short with us. I understand he is busy. He informed us he would be there late Friday night. We informed that would be great because the car could not be picked up until then anyway because our son was in school and unable to pick it up until 4pm. On Thursday night the driver called and said he would be there at 6am Friday morning, when we told that didn’t work he informed he would place it storage. Well my son did agree to meet at 6am and the driver did not show and would no answer his phone. Eventually the driver did wait until after his classes and my son did get his vehicle. If you ever have to ship a car don’t use Red Carpet, they are rude and unprofessional.

Red Carpet Auto Transport; ashley@redcarpetautotransport.com;602-438-4644; Mr.Hall, Unfortunately there were some changes in the staffing as Alice left the company relatively abruptly so you got helped by all of us in the office not just one person as we normally do. With that said your initial quote was for $975 which is exactly what you paid. In our terms and conditions it states quite plainly that we take our fee at pick up via your credit card, and the remainder is due to the driver cash or certified funds upon delivery, this was also explained when you placed the order, hence why we took credit card information. Also, our fee was actually $233 but since the driver asked for more money to take your vehicle we actually gave them over 50% of our fee so we did not have to ask you for more money. When we told you we had a truck for you we did in fact explain this to you. If you read our Terms and Conditions this is all within the text. Also, the dates we give you for pick up and delivery are all estimated as there are far to many variables that are in play to guarantee anything. This to is in our Terms and Conditions. I feel we were not in the wrong as we did everything possible as did the driver to make sure we got your car to your son unharmed and for the price we quoted. Had you read the Terms and Conditions that we send to every customer, you would have seen that nothing we did was out of those boundaries. Thanks you, Red Carpet Auto Transport
