This is the first time I have shipped a car and I was a little nervous. I had a lot of questions for Alice Perry and she answered each one numerous times without the slightest bit of annoyance. She did a fabulous job communicating what was going on each step of the way. I requested a quote and received over a dozen phone calls immediately asking to get my business. Of all the people I dealt with Red Carpet explained it best and was very helpful in the planning of the move. I was able to ship the car without having to be present as long as someone I trusted could hand over the keys and sign for the pickup. The company was very open about the transport business and as it is not regulated, referred me to research each company i was considering via Transport Review. The payment process was fairly easy. Red Carpet requires a deposit upon pickup of the car and the remainder is paid upon receiving the car to the driver. From Washington state to Maryland I payed $1092.00 which was not the lowest price and not the most expensive but just right. My car was on an open truck, which I didn't think to ask about so when I got it, it was VERY dirty. No damage was done nor was anything stolen. The total time to transport was 6 days. The estimated time was 7-10 days. This was the only thing that could have been a problem especially if you are on a tight time schedule. Overall the service was excellent and I would use Red Carpet Transport again.
