When we decided to give my car to my son in North Carolina, and there was no logical or convenient way to drive it from Connecticut to NC anytime soon, I needed to learn how to use the auto transport system. At first I was very intimidated by the process. I submitted my information online and began to receive lots of quotes. I did read the reviews on the Transport Reviews website, and Red Carpet was one company that stood out as a high-quality agent to use. When Red Carpet's quote was received I was pleasantly surprised that the quote was what I would call "reasonable and customary" based on all of the quotes I was receiving. I called Heather Richardson, my contact for Red Carpet. From my first conversation with her, I felt comfortable that she would make sure this shipping went as smoothly as possible. I contracted with Red Carpet, and the service was superb. Heather posted my car right away, and secured an excellent company and driver almost immediately to transport my car. I was kept informed via phone and email every step of the way- when to expect a call from the driver to narrow the pick-up time window, when the car was in transit, and when it was delivered. The driver/owner of the company secured by Red Carpet even commented to me when he picked up the car that he had not worked with them before, but the level of communication and professionalism Red Carpet showed him was unusually good. So- Heather and Red Carpet were great. Highly recommended!
