I contacted Recon basically on New Years Day. I was surprised to actually have someone respond at that time. I found Recon via the Better Business Bureau and was pleased to find that they had such high ratings there as well as here. My contact person (Jeremiah) was very helpful and answered emails promptly so that I wasn't waiting around to find out what was going on. Although I was a little disappointed to find out that Recon is only a broker, their service is in no way disappointing. Unlike many other companies I requested a quote from, I was not harassed by Recon in any way and they contacted me as I requested (via email). After all, why should you trust your vehicle with a company which can't even follow basic instructions? I've lost count of how many companies have been calling me (even though I've already informed them that my vehicle is where I need it) and asking if I still want my car shipped. Although Recon didn't offer the lowest bid, their record makes them worth the extra little bit.
