I'd like to say to begin with that although it took 11 days for my truck to be picked up from the day it was available, this was in no way the fault of Quality US Transport LLC. Quality, like most other transport companies, are brokers who set up the transport of your vehicle. It then becomes a waiting game to see when an independent carrier contracts to deliver your car. Unfortunately for me there were many, many cars coming out of Florida at this time (end of "snowbird" season). Why take my old 1953 4,000 lb truck when you can haul grandma's Ford Escort - less weight, less fuel. My truck was promptly delivered once it was picked up.
My experience in dealing with John was very straightforward with everything explained and no surprises. I was given a more than fair broker fee (excludes transport fee) and communication before, during and after delivery were excellent. John is a very easy guy to work with and I would not hesitate to use his company. I typically use enclosed transport for my cars but this one did not require it. Any future open transports I will call Quality first.
As with anything, do your homework. I received a dozen quotes, some high and some low. You'd like to think that you get what you paid for but that's not always the case. Look for a reputable company and a fair price and remember that brokers have limited control over carriers.
