On 12/11/12 I went online to find a carrier to move my ’64 Corvette from New Hampshire to New Jersey. The first company to call me was Protected Auto. They said they could do it for $400 even though the car did not run. I gave a $100 deposit and signed a contract. First pick up date was 12/14. When no one called me I checked back and they said they would get back to me. On 12/17 Maria said she could get more results if I paid more money. I agreed to a $50 increase but still never heard from them. I called 3 more times but no one would even answer to phone. I left messages and no one ever returned them. I finally rented a Uhaul and got the car myself. I disputed the deposit with Visa and got a refund. THEY KNEW FROM THE START THEY COULDN’T DO IT FOR $400 and took a deposit hoping they could get more $ or just keep the $100. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR B***S***! DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
