Vehicle was picked up on time in January in Ohio and delivered at night, in Florida, in poorly lit parking lot, covered with road grime (not the problem). The problem was that the vehicle had a dent on rear trunk lid that happened during transport. Progressive Auto Relocation has been no help in getting us compensated for the damage. Unfortunately, the damage to trunk was not discernible until the next day when vehicle was washed. I sent before and after pics to Progressive and was told these would be helpful in resolving the issue. The representative at Progressive led me to believe for 6 weeks that he was discussing with the carrier's insurance company. As far as I can tell this is not true. I spoke to representatives at both the insurance company and to the insurance agent, and neither had any files or any contact with Progressive Auto Relocation or any mention in their electronic files that contact had been made. My take.. 1) Progressive Auto Relocation does not stand behind the carriers they select, 2) Only take delivery of car in broad daylight so that you can do a proper inspection, and 3) Ask broker for actual insurance policy that covers contents of transport carrier. If you are unwilling to be on the hook for damages equal to the deductible, find a different broker/carrier.

We are still currently working on resolving the damage claim. Unfortunately, Mr. Laudel never marked the damage on the Bill Of Lading when signing for and accepting delivery of the vehicle, so the insurance company is not certain it was caused by the carrier or driver, making filing a claim for damage more difficult. The claim is in the works it is just taking longer than Mr. Laudel would like.
