I was recently offered a promotion in Chicago by my job and had to get there quickly, so I packed a suitcase for a couple of weeks and my belongings had to come later. I contacted Progressive and spoke with Hector about getting my car from San Diego to Chicago. He discussed the process by which my car would get to me and answered all of my questions about the safety and reliability of their trucks/transport process. I'm big on good customer service over the phone and Progressive delivered. I never had to wait very long on hold if at all and I was always notified of the status of my vehicle along the way. I thought that the cost was fair. They took really good care of my car while it was on the truck and it got to me clean and in the same condition I left it in. Not having to put the miles on my car and worry about breaking down on the side of the road was SUCH a relief for me!! If I ever get stuck in the same situation, I'll be calling Progressive again.
