This Presidential movers/ transporter company is the the hold scam/trap that set up to get your money, supper bad customer services. Here is my experience with them.
I need to ship a car for my brother from Aurora CO, to Tucson AZ for my brother, so I receive a quote from them, for the $515 and if I book today the will give a discount $50, so I call them to ask if this real, then talk to the lady named Maria, she said if I book with her the price is $475 for everythings. I ask her several times" it this the total price of everythings? she said yes, and I have to deposit of $170 broker fee and this already include in the price of $475. I ask her many, many times, this $170 is to desposit upfront and my balance that I wi l have give to the driver when I recieved the car is $305. She said I will only have to paid $305 after it deliver. also I old her that I need to car to be in Tucson, AZ by Friday, April 6,2012, Saturday or the lastest is Sunday April 8, 20012 before I decide to go with them and give them the deposit. She ask her boss then she told me that they will try to meet the date and probable my brother will have the car by Monday. Therefore, I am go ahead authorized them to take my $170, then they send me a contract. She keep asking for the deposit of $170 so they can get it going for me and hold the spot for me, she is pushing that I send an email back to authorized her to take $170 from my checking account. In the contract said the price is $475 and they will pick the car for Aurora, CO on Thursday, April 5. Then I ask her to make it clear in writing that the balance is $305, that was the amount my brother have to pay to the trucker when he recieved the car in Arizona, So she send me a email from the guy Anthony Smith,presidentialmovers.anthony@yahoo.com state that ( the deposit 170.00 will come off the total off 475.00 the bal. is 305.00), by then I thought we were safe then.
But guess what the car did not get to pick up on Thursday April 5, as they promise in the contract. In between this time I call Maria back to asked why the car haven't been pickup yet? get what no answer, then I call the dispatcher, a lady said they were back up because they have to pick 7-10 other cars around the country and if I want a garantee pickup/deliver date then I have to paid for more. So then we wait that is Ok, fine then. And the car finally pick up Saturday morning from Aurora, CO and it didn't get delivery until Wednesday noon, April 11.
Now the big liar liar and scam start to poke their tail out of the dark, guess what? The trucker ask for $550 more, he said if my brother don't give him that amount, he will put the car in the storage or take it away, then we will have to paid for more. I call Maria, the lady who set me up, she said she don't have time to deal with this, she is in the middle with other customer, she doesn't even want to talk to me, she told me that I need to call her dispatcher Al at 1-888-248-1211, then I call him, this guy named Al is the key to the trap, he will not try to help you at all, he is really super and duper, triper unprofessional, rude, and bad attituted, he said it is in the contract that they can change the price if they want to, the price of $550 is the change due to the fuel price go up and the $170 that they took from me up front last week is only the broker fees is not included in $550. I have to paid additional $550 no matter what if not then they will put the car in storage or don't let me have the car back. I call Maria at this 516-656-9612 and told her she need to make clear with her dispatcher about the price that I have to paid is $305 only and she keep tell me to call the dispatcher AL. I call him back and he gives me the same bad attidude. I call Maria back again, this Al guy keep pick up her phone tell me that I don't need to call her no more, no matter what I will have to paid $550 more even I take him to court, it is in the contract that I agree. My dad and I call serveral times but they knew our numbers, they don't pick up the phone no more. This Presidental company the most unprofessial, they did this on purpose, just tried to get you in contract with them away from other competer, then when you in contract with them they start to rip you off.
