Recently we purchased from a dealership in California a CTS-V Cadillac for delivery to Washington State and ultimately for export to Canada. The whole procedure of purchasing from a distance is somewhat stressful, and certainly arranging safe transport is additionally demanding.

In this regard all I had to do was call Gilbert at Philam and the rest was taken care of. In a sense he acted as my "attorney" in arranging transportation for my vehicle. He explained the industry procedures and possible pitfalls, he explained regularly the steps he was taking on my behalf, he secured a good price, he contacted the dealer, and he arranged suitable pick-up and delivery dates and times. Additionally, he provide the security of having the driver's cell number so I could keep track of the progress and know the precise delivery time. In other words, he took care of all the details.

As mentioned, there is considerable worry and anxiety in purchasing a vehicle 1200 miles away and then having it picked up and delivered. For me Gilbert diminished significantly the worry because I knew he was committed to acting in my best interest and, like an "attorney", taking care of business for me.

A good spirit and good sense of humour in the relationship was much appreciated. Thanks, Gilbert.
