We have employed Passport Transport since 2010 for everything from over-priced classics to daily drivers. I cannot say enough good things about this company. There have been two moves that were especially difficult to coordinate so, I had to make repeated calls to both Ed & John. They could not have been more helpful in making difficult moves seem effortless. The drivers are extremely professional & courteous. I was kept up-to-date not only by the tracking system (which is awesome) but the driver calls to advise of pick-up and delivery times.
There was one delivery delay due to truck repairs. Fortunately, I understand mechanical break downs are beyond anyones control so when my driver called to explain the situation & offered to have another truck pick-up my car, I declined. I would rather have a late delivery than take money out of his pocket. From talking to the drivers in the past, I know they own their trucks and Passport owns the trailer. This driver was already having a bad day. I was not going to make it worse.
The one tip I would give, if you purchase a vehicle from an auction & cannot be there at pick-up, ask that you be provided information on any noted damage prior to loading. This will save you a lot of headaches & money when the auction company refuses to accept their liability.
I will be using Passport again, and I do not hesitate to say I highly recommend this company.
