Fast Delivery, Easy to work with, Dusty Car Arrived, but would use again

In short, I want to leave a positive for this particular carrier who helped me transport my SUV from Seattle, WA, to Philadelphia, PA.
I had actually scheduled the order with Patrick from Motor Movers Auto Transport, you could expect another review I leave about them. Basically, I think I was very lucky that I scheduled my transport just in time before one of the truck drivers leave Seattle. Patrick quoted me $1600, $200 charged in credit card, and $1400 pay in cash on delivery. So, I think the brokerage fee is $200, and OK Carrier received only $1400.
That said, I listed the car on July 8th for $1500 ($1300 for OK Carriers), and was able to lock down the pick up the next day @ $1600 ($1400).
OK Carrier's dispatch called me the same night, letting me know that a driver, named Stefan, will be at the pick up location in the late morning.
The driver arrived just before noon, and the car loading process was done swiftly. Since I wasn't there to witness the loading process, I can't be sure of the details. But, my friends told me that there are a coiuple brand new Porsche's and an Aston Martin loaded on the truck already. So that left me a bit better assured. One thing to note during the pick up is that Stefan refused to drive up a hill to load up the car at the door literally, but it's completely understandable since it's more difficult for trucks to maneuver.
After loading, Stefan told me that it will arrive in 5 days; I was actually a bit skeptical, but I told him to call me a day in advance before his arrival, so that I can prepare my reception.
Saturday, July 13th arrived. Just as I was about to check up on the 5 day promise, OK Carrier dispatch called in the afternoon telling me that the car will arrive between 8 and 9 am on Sunday. I called Stefan at 8am July 14th, he said he was 26 miles away from my location, which was quite assuring.
Reception of the car went relatively smoothly as well. The first thing I noticed is that the loading slot is different from the unloading slot. But then, after I had checked the odometer, I had concluded that it was probably because he had to unload other cars and reload mine at other drop off locations. He had to do the same thing to the Jaguar he unloaded. The next thing I was a bit unhappy about is the amount of dust on the car, I ordered an enclosed container, but the car was never the less covered in dust and even rusty watermarks (probably from the truck). I had to spend another hefty $50 bucks to get it washed off, which I wasn't quite pleased.
Overall, the delivery was on time, and I was happy with this company. I would consider shipping my motorcycle here again if I could find a better deal.
Some tips for shipping your car over (but not all):
- Make sure you have the driver's phone number, just another measure of insurance.
- Make sure you video the process of loading and unloading in case if anything happens.
- During loading, make sure you take picture of every lil marks that the truck driver marks on that Bill of Lading.
- During unloading, spend as much time as you need to inspect the car before you sign the Bill of Lading. (This was why I wasn't so happy about the dust on the car because it makes me so must more difficult to inspect)
- Inspect engine bay and underbody. (just in case)
- Turn off and restart the engine, to check for possible warnings.
- My airbag light turned on after driving for a lil bit, I'm not sure if this is cuz of the transport or they had stolen my airbag (unlikely, but possible). I will have to investigate this a bit further next week.
