Sometime last year I contracted New World Auto Transport to move my 1990 Lexus 400 LS from San Jose CA to Houston TX. OD auto transport was assigned to deliver my car. In the first place he was nasty and not polite. He demanded $150 for an old plasma tv I have put in my car. When he delivered the car I did not have all the charges in money order. I had half in money order and pleaded with him to accept the rest in personal cheque since my social security would be in my account in a week. He flatly refused and took my car to
New World Auto transport in Katzy. He demanded $680 more while New World took $400
before releasing the car to me.
I think this is a dishonest way of doing business. If I gave him a check and it bounced, he could charge me more money, but not in this case. It was a complete rip off. I demand that he returns the extra money he took from me because he did not earn it honestly.
