Shipping a car from the UP to California

I had never had a car transported before so I was a little intimidated but when I called New World Transport I got the CEO on my first call. He was very good and gave me a me a very good quote and some time to think about it. I did just that and read the reviews about this company and the things about the safety and liability things and this helped me feel a lot better and decided to call them back the next day and go ahead. I called and asked to talk to the CEO and he took my call and then got me in contact with a sales agent Jon and he took it from there. The car was not picked up for about a week because I live in the UP and not a lot of drivers want to go this far North . I called Jon Friday 10/1/2010 to see if anything was happening and Jon was not in but the dispatcher Karen was so nice and I asked her if I drove it to LaCrosse WI would it have a better chance to be shipped and she said it might but she would talk to Bob and call me back. They did and changed my departure city to LaCrosse and within 30 minutes it was picked up from another wonderful helper the driver from St. Paul. It was nice I was going camping in Lacrosse and I just drove it there and on 10/2/10 it was picked up at a shopping center and made it to California last night. The folks New World Auto Transport were so helpful. Rural destinations are hard and they even gave the drive 2/3 third of their fee a bonus to get this car moved for me. Well the rest is history now. Thanks to all!!!!!!!
