Vehicle to Anchorage from TX

Transporting to Alaska has issues unlike transporting within the lower 48 and not all companies will attempt it or can do it without issues. A partner moving company connected me with Ray who was very helpful and handled all my questions whether by phone or email. As soon as the family was committed to flying into Anchorage on 1/1/13, he worked quickly to get a spot reserved for the vehicle on the ship going from Seattle to Anchorage. The date of the reservation, 12/14/12, required the vehicle being at the port by 12/12/12. The transport picked up the vehicle on 12/4/12 from our home and it was happily picked up at the Anchorage port on 1/2/13 as planned.

We were very pleased with the vehicle being in Anchorage by the date we wanted. We are not so lucky with the household items which was done by another company. Wish New World could have done the household items as well.
