Working with National Transport was great! I believe Metro City served as the actual carriers. I have never shipped my car before and the beginning process was a little uncomfortable because I didn't know what else I should have done to prepare before hand. I paid the additional $200 for a guaranteed delivery (not pickup) and it was definitely worth it! The representative who picked up my car was friendly but didn't really give clear answers as to who would be driving my car, how long my car would sit until it was shipped, and other questions related to liabilities. I figured I could call the company and ask the questions. You read about scams and how companies charge you extra, etc. but when the driver (a different person) dropped it off, he was knowledgeable and friendly. I paid the remaining portion in cash and he made a note on my Bill of Lading that I paid the $400 in cash as my receipt. I would have preferred another receipt for proof, but I guess this is the way it's normally done? He waited while I checked inside and outside of my car for scratches/discrepancies. My miles were the same. The only complaint, if you can even call it that, is that my car had a lot of dirt on it... but it's to be expected.

The process for getting the shipment set up was very smooth as well. I had some issue w/ dates and timing and National Transports did an excellent job on accommodating me. I will definitely give them a call for future moves and am glad that I paid the extra $200 for my guaranteed delivery date. It may have been just as good or it may have been worse w/o the $200 extra... but it doesn't matter. I feel that $200 is a small price to pay for ease of mind. Now, if only the company moved personal belongings as well...
