I transported my car for the first time from Minneapolis to California. I found National Auto transport on google and straightaway applied for a quote and then paid a deposit of $150. Before I start my review, from my experience so far, I understand that auto transport is no simple task. Delivering the vehicle right at your door step can be quite difficult for the truck driver. So I believe that a prompt customer service is absolutely necessary.

The person who handled my order goes by the name of Jay. After a few days of paying the deposit I had a few questions. So I called them back many times, and there was no response. I was a little worried about their customer care. Then I saw that most reviews were horrible, so I tried calling them desperately 9 days prior to the pick-up day to get back my money. I emailed them and I also left a voice message and there was no response.

Finally Jay calls me back on the 6th day. I told him that I want refund and he says its too late (I had to contact them 1 week before the pick-up). He goes on to say they have a very "sophisticated" infrastructure to handle calls and suggests indirectly that I was lying. I had no choice but to continue with the previous order. My vehicle was picked-up promptly and delivered 1 day late (no worries). But what really upset me was, after my vehicle was picked-up I tried calling Jay (and emailed him) to track my car, because we had to plan to be at home to receive the vehicle. I tried contacting every day for 3 days and left him numerous voice messages and there was no response, and finally I never got a response!! This is a terrible customer service.

But what I appreciated was the company which was really delivering the vehicle. It's name was Inter-state Roadrunner Inc. The driver called us one day before and said his radiator burst and will be 1 day late. I found him extremely honest and was always there to receive my call. Moreover the national auto transport website also allows tracking but it is broken!! I could track my vehicle all the time by contacting Inter-state roadrunner inc. Bottom line National auto transport sucks big time and they are dishonest people!
