I contacted National Auto Shipping on 4/24 to transport my Father's car after he suddenly passed away. Manny stated that the vehicle would be picked up within two days; Friday being the ABSOLUTE latest. Manny also stated that they do NOT contract out and reiterated that they are not brokers. By Friday, the car was still not picked up. Manny stated that a truck had "broken down" but they would be able to pick up by the weekend and that he would be working on Saturday and assured my vehicle would be picked up. I called on Saturday and no one was in the office. Monday morning I called and they stated that they were sorry but it would be a few more days due to their "broken truck". I again explained the circumstances and the predicament that they have put me in. Later that day, I received a call stating that they had a truck available and would be picking up my vehicle by 4pm. The driver did not pick up the vehicle until 6pm and stated that it would "cost more" because he had to go down a dirt road. I then received a call from a woman stating she was from "dispatch". She gave me another company's name and stated that National Auto Shipping had brokered the job out. In the end, I received my car at 10pm the next day from a totally different company who stated that I owed them $350.00. I explained that I had already paid National. It was an absolute nightmare! Never again!

**on 5/3/07, two days after originally submitting this review, I received a call from National Auto Shipping stating that "their lawyer would be contacting me because it is illegal to post reviews on transportreviews.com". They stated that I "would need to appear in court in Florida or would be arrested". I called National back and inquired and no one would fess up to the call. Needless to say, my Brother is a Lawyer.
