Overall the transaction went smoothly enough but I found the communication to be poor. While the terms read that we would receive at least 24 hours notice before pickup and delivery I ended up contacting the company to obtain this information on both ends. I felt in the dark as to the when and where right up until I called. It would be nice and most likely not that difficult for them to email/text/etc some tracking information as it can be difficult to change schedules around last minute. That said when I did contact them they were courteous and knowledgeable and as such I would use them again.

We're sorry to hear about your communication problems, but we've checked our records and here is what we have... Trucker was assigned on 07/27/2010 and estimated pick-up for 07/29/2010. On 07/27/2010 Montway Auto Transport sent a dispatch notification to our customer with ETA for pick-up and truck driver cell phone number. This is a 48 hour notice and our instant dispatch notification via email is a standard feature with our company! Of course if the customer would like to get an update on pick-up and delivery it's normal to call in or email us. Regardless, we're taking every review seriously and we'll try harder next time!
