We used Montway to ship a car from OKC to Phoenix for the summer and back again. It worked out quite well in both directions. I would say that the driver in both cases turned out to be excellent and good to work with. In fact , I learned both drivers were brothers and each had a separate transport company in Phoenix. Montway themselves were very helpful in setting up the shipments and I think they gave good advice on setting a shipment date that would work out. When you have shipped a car once and learned how the process works and start to understand the timelines and limitations, the process becomes much easier, so you have to place a little faith in their system. The reasons why I indicated 4 stars rather than 5 concerns the overall system rather than this specific delivery. If there was an option to have a designated pickup and/or delivery date that would be helpful (or at least a date range that is narrower than 1 week). Sometimes the trucks are too big to fulfill the 'door to door' delivery promise and you have to meet in a large store parking lot and then arrange at short notice to have someone drive you there. This was generally not a problem for me, but it is something customers should be aware of. I would advise doing a little advance homework and scoping out a couple of pickup and drop off points near home before booking. It will make working with the driver a little easier for you you both. However, I was pleased with the service and plan to use Montway again next year for the same reason and hope that we are assigned the same drivers.

Thank you for the detailed review. We're happy to hear that the team was able to deliver a great experience for your needs. We definitely agree with some of these comments. We recommend that every potential shipper does their homework. We provide many resources for shippers. And are always here to answer any and every question you may have. We will say that do offer premium fixed pickup dates for customers who need them. But there are limited to no options for fixed delivery dates in our industry. The costs to the consumer to provide such a service would be unreasonable in most cases. As for door-to-door shipping, this is limited by truck restrictions. As well as laws and regulations specific to your transit locations. In such cases, the driver will ask to meet at a nearby location. Again, we are happy to hear your experience was great.
