Montway as a company has been great to work with but their contracted drivers, not so much. I?ve used Montway to ship 2 cars from Minnesota to California and most recently for my mother from Minnesota to Florida. Two days before my mother arrived to FL, I received a call from the driver saying he got to FL early and that he would be delivering her car the following morning. I explained that my mother was still traveling and asked him to delay delivery 1 day. The driver refused my request and yelled at me for wasting his time even though he was TWO DAYS EARLY. My mother ended up driving all night to get to FL for delivery of her vehicle. After getting her car, she recorded damage of her things being strewn through and greasy black finger prints on her (white interior) backseats, ceiling of car, head rests and passenger?s seat. The driver had no reason to be in her car so we immediately reported to Montway. They contacted the driver and he denied being in it. We ended up filing a claim and was offered $50. This experience has completely left a bad taste in my mouth as neither party wanted to take responsibility for the mess that was left in my mother?s car. If you end up using any car service, take photos of your vehicle inside and out and keep any transported items locked. Better safe than sorry. I wish I could attach the photos
