The industry dictates pricing, our job is to present those options to our customers. Because the goal is to get a carrier assigned to transport the vehicle, we offer every transport option to the customer. It is the customer’s decision whether to proceed with that option or not. Working at the quoted price is not an issue, we could continue to seek out a carrier for the quoted price. As stated in our terms and conditions accepted by the customer upon booking is that all dates are estimated. Meaning there is no time frame as to when or if a motor carrier will want to transport the vehicle at the customer’s preferred price.
Our team made every effort to help the customer understand the nature of the industry and the terms and conditions agreed upon when booking.
As the customer was unsatisfied with estimated dates or having to pay the additional carrier pay currently being requested by industry truckers, the best course of action was to exercise term and condition #9 whereas “Customer agrees that Montway Inc. has the right to reject or cancel any order for any reason at any time”
Therefore the order has been canceled and no funds have been collected from the customer.
