Bait and Switch and Super Late

My experience with Montway was dismal... with an added bait and switch on the money end. I asked for a certain pick up date and was told it would be that day or the next or a few days beyond at worse. WELL, my car left 10 days after my pick up date. When it was picked up it wasn't really picked up to ship, they were just tired of hearing from me, so it was picked up by a towing company and then held until a truck was available. I negotiated a price and then after waiting 8 days,they told me they could pick it up in two days but it would be more. and then it sat for 3 days before being shipped out. I could have turned that down and they would honor the negotiated price, but who knows how long that would have taken, i had already waited ten days. Of course this meant renting a car for 9 days, but they did not offer to pay for that. On the other end, I was gold the rendez-vous with the trailer would be withing 10-15 minutes of my place... well it was 1 hour and 15 minutes away, taking me to a totally scary neighborhood where i was asked to go into a sketchy building to get my car. Because i am smart I refused and had my uber driver wait with me... the whole pick up was a terrible experience. the entire thing was a nightmare. The car did arrive in good condition, 10 days after i expected it to arrive and for considerably more money than i was told it would be. I would not recommend them nor would i ever use them again.

We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused. The carrier dispatched requested the additional fees as they had priced the available spot on their trailer higher than expected. We make sure we let our customers know of all the available options so that they can make the decision, we don't want to miss an opportunity to get your vehicle picked up as soon as possible.
