I've been purchasing vehicles from out of state and having them transported here to michigan for several years. Over the years I have used countless transporters. Out of all the companies I have used Montway Transport has proven to be the most reliable hands down. With this particular transport from Pennsylvania to Michigan I had contracted with another carrier who took my deposit, promised to pick up my vehicle within (3) days and a week later my vehicle had not been picked up nor could the contractor tell me when it would be. This unexpected delay caused a storage bill to run up on the vehicle which was purchased from an auction. On Thursday January 26th I contacted Montway Transport. They informed me that they would pick the vehicle up on or before Tuesday January 31st. The very next day which was Friday the 27th Montway contacted me via phone and informed me that their driver was at the auction attempting to obtain a release of the vehicle but there was a small storage charge remaining. I informed the dispatcher that I was attending a funeral and would be able get to a computer and cover the storage charge in approximately ten minutes. The dispatcher advised me that the driver would take care of the storage charge and I could reinburse him when the vehicle was delivered. The very next day which was Saturday the 28th somewere around noon the driver contacted me and stated that he was about an hour away from the drop off point with the vehicle. The fee was about $60.00 more than the first company but it was well worth the additional expense. Montway exceeded my expections and in the future my first call will be to Montway!!!!!!
