I started this experience as a first-time shipper. Just wanted to help send my son's car to him across the country. I thought it was like a package, set up shipment and done. Shipping a car is much different. Once I sent out a request for a quote, I was bombarded with phone calls, text messages, and emails. One email stood out. It was from Joe Kelly from Mercury Auto Transport. He sent info on how to navigate this process. He text me and was very helpful with my questions. He explained that I shouldn't pay anyone a deposit and was very helpful and explaining how the process worked. The price was consistent with other quotes I received and I appreciated his approach. In the end, the car did not ship on the date I had hoped but Joe stuck with it until we had a carrier. I knew exactly what to expect and at the end felt a lot better about the process. I would only call Joe in the future and would recommend him to anyone. If this is the first car you've ever shipped, call Joe and the Mercury Auto Transport team.
