Hi Chuck, thank you for your feedback. Sometimes the offers that carriers make for a shipment can be lower as well as higher but we try to estimate the cost as close to their actual price as possible. We pass their offer to ship your vehicle on to you and you make the final decision, but you do not have to accept any one particular offer. If the rate does not fit your needs we simply keep looking for the next carrier that works better for you. I apologize if this was not thoroughly explained to you. If you have any other questions or concerns I would be more than happy to discuss this with you further.
