Hi Heather,
Our estimates are right on target for 99% of the time. I'm sorry if this one was off. I know Carol went to work on this right away which is why we wanted to get back to you so quick (within 24 hours) to let you know when we tried to find a carrier for your route, that was the best rate we could get due to so many vehicles moving out of California at once.
That's why we got back to you the next day and didn't wait an entire week to let you know that the pricing was off. Of course we didn't take any money up front or charge you anything.
Though we are not off by that much often it does happen and when it does we want you to know ASAP so you can make the best choice for yourself moving forward, even if that is to go with another company.
We can always keep your vehicle posted at whatever price you would like for as long as you like and interview every carrier going through your route until we get you the best price, we just thought in this case it was important to let you know for your route on this week, we were way off. I am glad this allowed you to make the best decision for yourself with no money upfront.
If you found another company that was able to guarantee you a much lower price and was able to take care of that for you quicker than we were, I am very happy for you that you were able to get that done.
