Was really rude and didn't fess up to his damage put a dirty cover on car which gave car a lot of surface scratches ruined a perfect condition car with only 2800 miles thanks

Our lead time for booking is 3 weeks we picked up this car within 4 days. This guy was insincere from the first discussion with us first he said we were recommended by a client. When I asked who, he couldn’t remember, then, after he booked with us he says to me. We delivered a black corvette to him. We never did. When he called for a quote I gave him a price and he asked us to do it cheaper. I told him that this was our lowest price and we will be there in a few days to pick up this vehicle enroute to our terminal. We gave him an estimated date of delivery. He agreed to all. He purchased this vehicle “As-Is Where IS” then describes this car as being as new and it still smells new. This he must have repeated at least four times. Prior to loading we inspected and photographed the condition of this car it was and is in very good condition with the exception of some minor scratches. This car was black which is the easiest color to miss a scratch or two. That is why we take pictures of the entire car just in case. We cover the bumpers and emblems with 9 mil thick clearshield. Then we load, then cover the car. We supplied the cover because he didn’t. We then put moving pads over the whole car. Last, we tied it in to our enclosed trailer. We brought the car to our terminal and repeated these same steps when transferring the car to our local delivery trailer[also enclosed]. Four days later I personally delivered this car. We viewed every square inch for over an hour. We discussed the scratches. At that point I told him that we did not put those small marks in the rear bumper as a matter of fact the clearshield was over the bumper. He agreed at the time. This is the best part. When he goes to pay me, He has me meet him on the other side of my trailer so that his father couldn’t see. He says that he told his father that the shipping was included in the price.[lies to his own father] My conclusion is that he tried to get recourse from the seller and the seller wasn’t going to pay. Now he is looking to us. I have the pics and I am not paying for damages that we couldn’t have done. Next time maybe he’ll go look at his new purchases before he buys them. Then he could take his own pictures. Yes the seats were covered, the steering wheel was covered and I wore white gloves both loading and unloading. The car got dirty! That was as bogus as this guys claim. I am extremely offensive when I am sure someone is trying to steel. That was rude, more like I don’t negotiate with ruthless people. …….. David Mazzalupo, owner
