Like most people probably do, I requested quotes from several companies, and had several responses ranging all over. After speaking with Malia at Magic Carpet, she told me to check out this site, and after seeing her name specifically mentioned a few times with POSITIVE responses, I decided I'd give them a shot. Malia (and a couple of other ladies who I spoke with) were very courteous, prompt at returning calls, and knowledgeable about the entire process.

I told her that my truck was essentially ready to be picked up, and to my surprise, they found a carrier for it the NEXT DAY! So I got it loaded up on a Wednesday, and the driver told me that he might be able to deliver to Dallas by Friday night, or Saturday morning. I told him that I wouldnt' be in town until Friday night, and I thought he understood me completely. This was my only complaint. As I was in the airport heading to Dallas on Friday afternoon, he called to tell me he was already there! And since you have to pay cash in full upon delivery, I didn't have anyone else I could have meet him. However, he was able to go make another delivery, and then come back to me later that night to meet me at a truck stop. It was a little out of the way, but to have my truck a day early and not have to waste part of a Saturday (when hurricane Ike was coming in) was a welcome deviation!

My truck arrived in the same condition it was picked up in, with the addition of a couple of road bugs, but overall still very clean and no damage whatsoever.

So in summary I'd GLADLY use Magic Carpet again in the future to ship a vehicle!
