The driver scheduled to pick up our vehicle never arrived, and magic carpet was confused and not efficient at rescheduling. In fact, it was not clear initially that this company is a broker, not a transport company, therefore not really responsible for transporting our car. They also promised a guaranteed pickup fee (paid by a colleague who shipped his car with mine) and did not explain in advance that the "guarantee" was really just the fact that if you paid $300 more, you were virtually assured of finding a driver willing to pick up quickly. Our "guaranteed pickup" happened 3 days late, which turned out to be within a 72 hour window that the company said they had explained to us ahead of time. Some guarantee. At one point a day or two into the fiasco, they emailed me to say that the car had been picked up when in fact it had not. There was never a proper explanation for this. I would not use this company again.
