This company was easy to deal with. When i first started looking for auto transportation i didnt realize what a headache i was getting myself into. Talk about a circus! The whole auto transport industry is so cutthroat these days you have to auction your vehicle to companys to bid for your service which generally has to be set up by a 3rd party or broker. Now i reccomend if you know a good reputable transporter you go through them directly but these days for most of us who just need a vehicle moved and dont know anything about the processes involved a good transport broker is our only option. I found magic carpet by googling best transport co and they were the first on the list. I had already registered on uship and had declined several offers already when i called these guys. Sue garrison was very friendly and straight forward with her service. I explained that i had recieved offers already(most were too high and one was suspiciously low) then she gave me a quote that was inbetween. At this point the whole process had been stressing me out so i came up with an acceptable amount i was willing to pay. Sue understood my frustration and gave me her personal contact info and swore she would do whatever she could to help me get the quote i needed. A day later i recieved a call from sue saying she had gotten a bid for the amount i was looking for. Now im sure i didnt get the lowest possible quote to move my car but this companys good reputation and the efforts of sue to communicate through the phone and email made the whole thing worth it. The transporter picked up my car right on time and i recieved it the evening before it was scheduled for delivery. The driver was friendly and unloading the car went smoothe. I didnt have to pay more than was agreed upon and so the whole thing was a success. I'd actually read posts from people who had paid a broker to set up transport for an amount and when their car arrived the driver needed the full amount including the brokers fee even though they had already paid it. Magic carpet was great from start to finish and has a good staff with great customer service skills.If you are looking for auto tranportation give them a call and ask for sue garrison. She is honest and dependable and will make your whole experience alot easier to deal with. I will definately use these guys if i ever need to tranport again. Nate t.
