My experience with Magic Carpet Auto Transport was a fairly easy and smooth transaction once we were able to get beyond two minor hiccups.

First, I received two quotes from Magic Carpet Auto Transport and there was a slight difference in the amount quoted. The first quote was for $1,025 and the second for $1,080. I emailed both back in one email referencing both quotes. Greg is the one who ultimately responded ($1,080) and he was ready to move forward with his quoted price until I pointed out that I would naturally prefer the lower quoted prices. After all, I did received the lower quoted price FIRST. Anyway.... we got that straight and in the end we were able to get 'close' to the lower end quote.

The second 'hiccup' was payment. I really did not want to deal with having to pay the driver cash/cashier's check/money order. I had stated in my email that if I could not pay the amount via credit card and avoid COD then I would not be interested in doing business with Magic Carpet Auto Transport. I also had noticed that under the 'payment' tab that there was a 'paypal' option so I thought there would be no issue. Well... apparently with 'direct billing' there are additional 'fees' that are assessed. Greg attempted to explain this to me but I really had not interested in why ... I just wanted a way to pay without having to hand payment with the driver. In the end, Greg was able to make things happen for me...although I couldn't completely escape the fees.

I would definitely work with Magic Carpet again should I require auto transport services in the future. The service was prompt and courteous and my car arrived just fine and even a day earlier than expected.

Kudos to Greg Bailey for his patience and diligence in working with me on my auto transport needs.
