After reading many, many reviews on here we decided to contact Don Treece with Magic Carpet about shipping our two cars (Hyundai Elantra and Ford Taurus) from Los Angeles to Boston for our cross-country relocation. Don was not only knowledgeable and able to answer all of our many questions, he was also extremely patient and easy going as we worked to finalize our move plans. Since this was for a move, we had many questions about what and how much we could pack into our cars. Don was great in assisting us on this and, once we did book, even triple-confirmed the packing policy with the auto transport company he booked us with. You can imagine how nervous we were as first time car shippers who had also just found out they were moving their entire lives back across the country; but Don handled it in stride. No question was too silly and he was always available when I called or emailed, even at off hours of the day. Don also made sure to check in with us every step of the way from pick-up to delivery. We talked with a lot of companies before I finally found Don and Magic on here, and we are so glad we booked with them. Shipping your most expensive possession can be a little unnerving but Don put us completely at ease and truly helped to make what could have a been a very stressful move into a smooth and easy transition. Our cars arrived undamaged and right to our front door. We paid $1770 for TWO cars, which was a steal versus what gas, hotels, and driving would have cost us (and we know; we have driven across the country 3 times previously). Don, we can't thank you enough!!!! If you are reading this wondering if you should call, just do it. You will NOT be disappointed. Good luck!
