Sheila was responsive and friendly throughout. Moving cross country in the winter is stressful, I have never transported a vehicle before and needed a lot of support throughout the process. I was not aware the car has to be empty and only realized this due to a passing comment made. One glitch; my Civic has a yakima roof box on it, which I mentioned at the time of booking. The driver wasn't anticipating this, but could accommodate it (which may not always be the case). I wasn't informed that the rate had increased to an SUV rate (because of increased height) until I picked up the car. I didn't know it had to be cash, either. Sheila was apologetic and said they are going to include this scenario in future training. She is an honest hard worker, I will use her again and highly recommend her to others. I paid $1400 for my car to get from Michigan to Washington state over the Christmas holiday- considering potential driving conditions at this time of year, it's a fair price, though i'd have removed the roof box in advance if i'd known it'd cost $200 extra- it could've gone in the pod with the furniture!

Unfortunately you were not that accessible as you were in Germany and traveling during the transport process. Due to the price increase I felt it only fair in an effort to detour any additional costs on your part that I pick you up from the airport and take you to your motel and then also assist you in getting to your vehicle the following day. We do not normally do this, however I really wanted this to end on a good note for you. All my best to you in your new position and hope you enjoy living in Grants Pass. ~Sheila~
