Working with Felicia Bond at Magic Carpet has been a pleasant experience. I have never had to ship a car before so I was extremely nervous about the entire process, espcecially after reading a lot of bad press on other company reviews. I chose Magic Carpet as they had some of the best reviews from other customers and because they are a local business, which I prefer to support. Felicia is very knowledgable about the industry and the whole process of shipping a car, was able to answer all of my questions and even calmed my nerves when it came to my concerns. They seem to have good lines of communication within their company, as a co-worker of hers called me at one point when she was unable to in order to give me an update regarding a carrier and pickup date. My car has not been dropped off yet, so only time will tell if the carrier that accepted the bid will prove to give as high level of service as Magic Carpet has. Unfortunately, the price I am paying ended up being higher than the original bid she put out there for me, but I was given a very detailed explanation as to why the price was higher (time of year, weather, not a lot of carriers going my route). I was not pressured to accept this price and given the option to wait it out for a lower cost; however, I did choose to move forward with it and Magic Carpet reduced their fee on the spot as a gesture of great customer service. If I ever need to ship a car again, I'll definitely call Felicia.
