The $1160 price for shipping my car was $200 higher than the lowest quote I received, but Magic Carpet's reputation was worth the added cost. My car was picked up within the agreed window and delivered promptly to the destination without damage. Everything worked out fine, but I was somewhat concerned during the process due to less than complete communications. Casey was very helpful in explaining how the process would work and answering my questions. However, once the arrangements had been made, I had some trouble getting in touch with him. Eventually, Casey always returned my calls and provided the requested information, but it took two tries to reach him on two occasions. I was also frustrated that I could not obtain written confirmation of the name of the shipper and the scheduled pickup date (I was told verbally). This is the first time I have shipped a vehicle, so I probably needed more hand-holding than a more seasoned customer.
