So, they didn't tell me that they would need to come early. I also didn't know that they would have to drive my car to the truck because the truck could not come into my city. The person who picked up my car was able to make some changes in his schedule so that I could have a bit more time to get things done, but we are talking hours, not the day that I expected to have. When he arrived, he meticulously marked off ever scratch. People don't usually ship cars that are as used as mine, so I imagine it took longer than he expected. I received a call before I boarded my plan to California that the car was ready to be delivered. I obviously could not be there to pick it up. It was annoying, but we were able to agree upon a time. When I received the car, everything that I had put in the trunk was still there. However, there were also grease stains on the car seats and on the steering wheel. I understand that shipping cars is challenging because they are coming from so many different places and it has to be coordinated with a variety of peoples' schedules. I would just hope that next time, even though I am shipping a used car, it is treated with as much respect as the person who picked it up. I should not have had to spend hours cleaning the car after I received it.
